While exploring an uncharted river canyon in the Amazon, the Butler family is caught in a violent whirlpool. They are propelled through an underground cavern and emerge in a hostile world of prehistoric creatures. Saved by a family of cave dwellers the Butlers find each day to be an adventure in survival.
