“Space Giants” is the English title of the Japanese series “Ambassador Magma.” The show's main characters were Goldar, a fifty foot tall robot-like alien, his wife Silvar, and their son Gam. The robots would transform into rockets to combat their arch villian, Rodak and other Space Monsters. They work closely with a wizard named Methusan and the reporter Ito Mura and his son Miko.
